Snowfall is most likely from late December to February. Solang and the Atal Tunnel side often have snow even when the town does not.
Volvo or flight to Manali?
Most travellers take an overnight Volvo from Delhi (about 12–14 hours). Flights to Bhuntar are limited and weather-dependent.
Is Rohtang Pass open?
Rohtang opens seasonally and needs a permit; the Atal Tunnel route to Sissu is the easier year-round option. Your agent will confirm current status.
